I have tried many different applications, management systems, and sharing services in the classroom. Each one has it's on long list of pro's and con's... and they really boil down to user preference. One application that seems to hit it out of the park, in my opinion, is Google Classroom. Google Classroom ties Google Apps For Education with a learning management system that makes it easy on the classroom teacher. Google Classroom allows a person with basic limited technology skills to share, collaborate, and manage a digital classroom. I can't imagine my classroom without this amazing tool. The one overhaul this really provided my class was the ability to share and edit documents easily. I use Google Classroom to assign my writing assignments. The documents are renamed and shared with the appropriate students/teacher instantly - no background work! Before implementing Google Classroom, this was a tedious task that took way too much time! If you are interested in setting up Google Classroom - I am attaching a step by step guide for setting it up. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to ask me! Download it ![]()
